Ninja Professional Blender (BL610)

With a 1,000 watt motor, the Ninja Professional BL610 has plenty of power for whipping up fruit shakes, making soups, and plowing through frozen ingredients. Ninja’s proprietary Total Crushing technology shreds ice and allows you to use the blender for creating frozen cocktails and other frozen drinks. It also works great for making recipes, smoothies, and any other kind of blended beverage.
The top of the BL610 comes with a sensor that automatically detects whether or not the lid is securely in place. If it’s not sealed, the motor will not spin. This prevents accidents and keeps your clothes free from unwelcome stains. The lid as well as the extra large 72oz pitcher is BPA free and totally safe for use with all kinds of food. All parts except for the base are dishwasher safe.
The BL610 includes 3 different speeds plus a pulse button for quick shredding. The unique layout of the blender’s six Pro Extractor Blades provides food and ice crushing power from more than one angle. With one set of blades at the base of the pitcher and an additional set coming out of a rod that sticks up through the center of the pitcher, the design allows huge loads of rough ingredients to get liquefied in around one minute.

In terms of value, this is one of the best deals you can find for a Ninja or any other blender for that matter. It also comes with a full one-year warranty as do all other models in this list. The Ninja Professional BL610 is an excellent buy, especially for its affordable price tag.

Pros

  • One of the top-selling Ninja models
  • Affordable price
  • High capacity 72oz pitcher
  • Six Pro Extractor Blades from two separate areas spin simultaneously

Cons

  • Doesn’t come with smaller containers or accessories

Ninja Professional Blender & Nutri Ninja Cups (BL660)

The Ninja Professional BL660, not to be confused with the BL610, is a step up in a few different ways. First of all, it has extra power with a 1,100 watt motor rather than 1,000 watts. If you compared the two, you’d be able to notice that the BL660’s blades spin faster than the BL610’s. Both come with the patented Total Crushing technology and obliterate ice, but if you’re in a rush in the morning, it’s nice to have your smoothie ready a bit sooner with the BL660.

The BL660 costs more, but also comes with more accessories. It includes two BPA free to-go cups with tight fitting lids. You can blend your morning or afternoon smoothie right into the cup and then pop it off and bring it with you. When you get home, you can throw it in the dishwasher along with the pitcher and blades. If you love smoothies or blended drinks, this is extremely convenient and will encourage you to make them more often because it’s so easy with the to-go cups.

Aside from the aforementioned differences, the BL660 is quite similar to the BL610. It has all of the same great features such as two rows of blades and three different speed modes with a pulse button, but offers even more. Also affordably priced, the Ninja Professional BL660 is a great choice for anyone who needs a blender.

Pros

  • Very strong 1,100 watt motor
  • Comes with two 16oz to-go cups
  • Pro Extractor Blades provide two rows of cutting action

Cons

  • Costs more than the very similiar BL610 model

Nutri Ninja Auto iQ (BL482)

The Auto iQ series is designed for saving time while offering the perfect automatic blend. Each unique setting is timed and stops automatically once the cycle is done. This hands-off approach makes smoothie making a synch. Especially once you get used to the automated function system, switching back to using a manual blender will seem like a big step backwards. The intelligent technology of the Auto iQ series is extremely convenient.

The BL482 has a 1,000 watt motor with one set of blades. It’s great for preparing drinks to take with you on the go. For morning rush situations, the auto iQ is ideal because you can simply put in the contents of your smoothie, press a button, and walk away. When you come back you will have a smooth beverage that’s ready to be taken with you right in the container you blended it in.

The Auto iQ comes with one 32oz, one 24oz, and one 18oz cup, each with its own tight-fitting lid. All parts are dishwasher safe and BPA free. For being a relatively small blender, the BL482 is very powerful. When on its highest setting, it’s rather loud, but it completes its cycle quite fast. It uses a stopping and starting rythm to allow chucks to settle down into the bottom during use. For speed and convenience, the Nutri Ninja Auto iQ BL482 might just be the best compact blender on the market.

Pros

  • Automatic settings make use very easy
  • Includes three different sized cups with lids
  • Ideal for saving time

Cons

  • Largest cup is only 32oz
  • No Pro Extractor Blades

Ninja Kitchen System Pulse (BL201)

This is a more affordable option than the Auto iQ with a wide 40oz pitcher that also includes two extra 16oz blending cups. It’s designed for making food, namely dough for cookies, pastries, or pizza. It includes two attachments other than the Total Crushing blades, a dough hook and a dough paddle. If you’ve never used a device like this for kneading dough, they make it much, much easier. It does all of the work and when it’s done, your dough is ready to use. For baking, an appliance like this is an asset for any kitchen.

The BL201 has a 550 watt motor, which is less powerful than all of the above models, but still packs enough force to get the job done without any trouble. It may take slightly longer to work through frozen veggies, frozen fruit, and unusually thick ingredients, but the BL201 is still quite strong enough to blend rough ingredients thoroughly. If you need a jumbo sized blender for preparing recipes or otherwise large amounts, then you should definitely consider the Ninja Kitchen System Pulse BL201.

Pros

  • Includes a dough hook and a dough paddle
  • Also comes with two 16oz cups with lids

Cons

  • Motor is only 550 watts
  • No Pro Extractor Blades

Similar to the BL660, the BL740 has a hefty 1,100 watt motor and a big 72oz pitcher. It comes with two 16oz to-go cups with matching lids. As usual, everything is BPA free and dishwasher safe except for the base. It has three speeds plus a pulse button for additional control of the razor-sharp blades. Its Total Crushing design pulverizes ice, so you can make a variety of frozen cocktails easily.

Total Crushing technology in combination with a very powerful motor allows the BL740 to perform very efficiently. If you’re only blending ice and fruit, your smoothie will be extremely fast, allowing you to get out the door that much faster. For frozen ingredients, you can also expect speedy performance from this high grade appliance.

This blender is great for large loads that are made up of thick ingredients. You can whip up a big batch in the 72oz pitcher and put whatever you don’t use right away in the fridge or freezer for later. Especially because of the two 16oz cups with lids, this is solid option for smoothie lovers.

Nutri Ninja Ninja Blender Duo with Auto-iQ (BL642)

With three manual speed settings and three Auto iQ buttons, the BL642 has plenty to offer in terms of functionality. Whatever use you need the Auto iQ for, you can find either a fully automated setting that will do it just right, or use a manual setting for control of exactly how long your ingredients are processed and what speed the blender operates at.

The Ninja BL642 has extra power with a 1,500 watt, 2 HP motor that can spin through just about any edible substance. Its Pro Extractor Blades hack through ingredients at high speeds using two sets of razor sharp blades, including ice and frozen food with ease. Of course, the blades are removable, dishwasher safe, and BPA free as is the pitcher and additional cups.

The BL642 comes with a 72oz pitcher and three additional cups of various sizes with matching lids. Unless the lid is on securely, the blender won’t run. This added safely feature protects you and your family from accidents. Ninja Professional Blender (NJ600)

As one of the best 1,000 watt standard blenders on the market, the NJ600 is reliable, dependable, and offers great value. Its motor is strong enough to handle pretty much any use, including turning ice into finely crushed snow for cocktails and more. It comes with a large 72oz pitcher that is BPA free.

The NJ600 uses Ninja’s Pro Extractor Blades, six blades from two sets. The rod which spins the blades from the center is removable and can be put in the dishwasher. This makes cleaning much easier. All you have to do is disassemble it and toss it in the dishwasher with your regular load. If you need to clean the base, simply wipe it down with a cloth.

A lack of accessories makes this high quality blender even more affordable. If you only plan on blending your drinks in the main pitcher and you don’t mind transferring smoothies to a cup before taking them with you, then this is your best option. You may also buy accessories separately if you change your mind.

Pros

  • Tried and true, one of their top-selling models
  • Pro Extractor Blades offer six-blade operation
  • Affordable price

Cons

  • Only one blending container
  • No accessories

Ninja Mega Kitchen System (BL770)

With a 1,500 watt motor, this model is extremely powerful. It can blast through roughage without slowing down. For soft ingredients, you might not notice a big difference between this and the Ninja Professional for example because they both spin through easy ingredients in no time. But for really tough loads, this model is a beast.

If you plan on blending frozen fruit and veggies with other rough ingredients like granola, nuts, or any other solids, this is a really good choice. For making basic smoothies, a 1,500 watt motor might be overkill, but it’s always better to have too much power than not enough. And considering that the price tag is still not too high, the BL770 is a good buy.

The Mega Kitchen System includes a wide 8-cup food processor bowl that holds up to 2 lbs of dough. You can knead a batch of pizza or cookie dough in under a minute with the included dough blade. It also comes with two 16oz cups with lids that you can make beverages in directly. This high powered option can handle anything and comes with some great accessories.

Pros

  • Extra powerful 1,500 watt motor
  • Plenty of accessories for smoothie making and recipe preparation
  • Pro Extractor Blades hack through heavy loads at two angles

Cons

  • If you just want to make simple smoothies, this might be more than you need
  • Price is higher than most other Ninja models
